Can I attend the inspection?
Yes it is recommended that you attend the inspection
How long does the inspection take?
Most homes around 2000 sf take around 2 hours to complete with 1 hour of report preparation at office
When do I get the report?
If you are present at the time of inspection, the inspector will show you a slide show of pictures taken and give you a verbal of his findings. Our reports include lots of pictures and they have to be inserted at our office. Your report is emailed to you the next business morning.
Can a house fail an inspection?
No house is perfect, not even a new home, we give you the information, you make the decision.
Is the roof included in the inspection?
Yes, a roof inspection is part of the inspection, most roofs are inspected either by viewing from roofs edge on a ladder or by walking on them. Some 2nd story roofs can not be accessed do to height. Some Inspectors don't inspect roof or just defer them. We inspect them for your protection.
Should my inspector be insured & Certified?
Yes, always ask if your inspector is insured. All of our inspectors are insured and certified for your protection
Should a bank owned property be inspected?
Some banks hire un qualified contractors to get the property ready to be purchased. Even though most banks will not repair most defects, it is important to know the condition or the property you are purchasing.
